Yeah, I speak fluent German and watching it live on TV. He never said "Barca is one of the best clubs in the world".

The Atletico part is true, he said he will be on holidays.

It's wrong. He NEVER mentioned Barca in this relation. He said that he goes to one of the best clubs in the world.

The "special club" thing is what the interviewer said. It's wrongly translated though. "Dieser spezieller Verein" = "This particular club" in this context. The interviewer tried to get out of him if he is going "to that particular club from Spain" [that everyone expects].

I'm actually curious why they make such a secret out of it. It must be Barca shutting him up. I don't see a reason why he wouldn't reveal it by his own choice after the last game of the season. Valdes hasn't announced any club either.

I read somewhere that the club wants to reveal it at the end of the season since the players could get distracted What they don't really notice is that everyone who follows Barca knows that Marc will join us. It annoys me.
