god this is so frustrating. Just ask him
will you join B-A-R-C-E-L-O-N-A ?
tie him up and force him for 3 hours to watch Chelsea playing football.
That will get the job done.
The interviewer tried this(not the Chelsea part) during the whole interview but MATS didn't react to it.
So all things said, he told:
- the new club will be announced within the next couple of weeks
- the new club will be one of the biggest clubs in the world
- he's already signed the contract with his new team
- he's not afraid of the possibility to fail and doesn't have any doubts about his perfomance at the new club
- no direct answer about Barca
- he not only speaks German and learned spanish, but also learned italien during his days in school
All things considered, I think the biggest thing holding it back is his new club and Gladbach manager Max Eberl(during an earlier interview) also said that there's a third party(new club) involved that won't allow him to announce it right now.
