Just imagine what he'll say at his first press conference before a match.

Reporter: Marc, you already played 3 games for Barca, how do you feel?

Marc: Who says that I played for Barca? I visited the the Camp Nou since I like stadiums. I will reveal my new club in a few months.

Reporter: But you have already played games for Barca

Marc: I won't say anything regarding my future. I feel happy at my current club and I will join a massive club. That's all I can say.
Nice.

A diff. club would've announced it by now. Only our club can turn something as a signing in to a farce.

Acc. to a MD article, a section of the board have imposed an embargo on his arrival, because they want Courtois, and 're insisting Zubi try and sign him (that's if google translate is accurate). Its all so dubious. I mean would Barca 've kept postponing the announcement if we'd signed up Courtois, for example.

Anyway, its good for him he knows Italian. He can always head to Serie A if it doesn't work out here. :p

What's the obsession with Courtois? For any other team but Barca I'd say Courtois is the best GK in the world right now, that's how good he is. He's definitely won me over after his initial hilarious freekick gifts to Ronaldo. But how many times do you see Courtois come off his line to cut off 1 on 1s or pass the ball accurately to a teammate? He's much more in sync with a deep block defense where he has to defend only within the 6 yard box. IMO he wouldn't look that special at Barca as he does now with Atletico.

I still believe it will be Stegen/Navas/Masip as 1,2,3.

It is absolutely outrageous for MD to claim that we will sign courtois because we had an agreement with Ter for a long time.

Yeah, it is weird. Both MD and Sport put him on the cover.

What I heard is that the likes of Villarubi wants a different approach from signing Courtois to appointing someone like Scolari as coach.

Both MD/Sport 've been running a pro-courtois/anti-TS campaign for few months now. Even TV3 was at it.

Remember this?

Here's a translation of the full interview for those who didn't see/understand it:

Reporter: Why the move?

MAtS: I made this decision because I see a new perspective for me. I'm looking forward to a new task, I'm looking forward to what comes next. It sounds strange when I say it has nothing to do with Borussia, but in this case, it's true. Borussia has always been able to give me everything, but I'm seeing a higher task for myself now and I'm looking forward to it.

Reporter: Christoph Kramer just said that everybody knows where you're going except for the people here in the studio. Can you announce today that you'll move to Barcelona?

MAtS: I won't comment on particular clubs. It will be made official in the coming weeks. Until then you will have to be patient. *smiles*

Reporter: But Barcelona would be such a "particular" club, it would be very particular, can I say it like that?

MAtS: *smiles* It is surely a particular club, it's one of the best clubs in the world... and it's very particular, but... (audience applauds)

Reporter: But it doesn't come out of the blue, allegedly FC Barcelona have scouted you for many years, since the U17 Euros [...], back then the word was that you would end up at Barcelona. Is a new conreact signed, do you already have a new club?

MAtS: I have a new club, yes.

Reporter: Very good. I heard you are learning Spanish.

MAtS: Okay.

Reporter: Spain is an interesting country. Are you learning Spanish because you want to go on holiday there?

MAtS: Among other things, yes. No, I'm generally interested in languages... *laughs*

Reporter: You have a Fachabitur diploma, so you can already speak English. [...] What about French?

MAtS: No. I had Italian at school, which is a beautiful language too. Accordingly, I decided I wanted to keep on developing on a personal level. There will be a time after football and it's always useful to know languages.

Reporter: The Spanish league is better than the Italian one though, isn't it?

MAtS: I don't know, I don't know either one.

Reporter: Regarding the "particular clubs", FC Barcelona is still in for the championship title after it looked like it would be a trophyless season. Mundo Deportivo wrote that you would be in Barcelona for the season's final against Atlético. That would be an exciting match, wouldn't it?

MAtS: It's surely an exciting match, but I won't be there.

Reporter: Otherwise I would have bought you a ticket.

MAtS: That's nice, but I think I'll be on holiday next week.

Reporter: But when the liga in Spain is over, can we say that there will be a decision, that Marc-André ter Stegen will - coincidentally - announce where he will go then?

MAtS: We'll see how things go, but in the next weeks there will be an official announcement. [...]

Reporter: You would really like to say it now, wouldn't you?

MAtS: No... *laughs*

[...] (Talking about the WC)

Reporter: Do you receive ARD and ZDF in Barcelona? Otherwise you will have to watch the WC in Spanish...

MAtS: I will still be in Germany during the WC.

Reporter: [...] How do you want to show Löw that you're irreplacable for the Euros 2016?

MAtS: I want to do well at my new club, that's very important, no matter where I will end up. My agent and me are always trying to search the best solution for me and I think we have found a great opportunity. There I want to show and prove myself, there I want to put in top performances on the international stage. Then we will see how relevant that is for 2016.

Reporter: Is that something that will shape you, the fight for a spot in the NT but also at your new club, which is as you said a special club, a big club. You won't be set as a starter there either, you will have to settle in first and fight. Is that something that scares you?

MAtS: No, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I am going to, in my eyes, a very very big club - I think it's not only me who thinks that - but you have that everywhere. At Gladbach that can happen as well, that you [...] don't perform and play the second fiddle. You have to be prepared for that, no matter where you are. I want to face my challenges and be successful in doing that.

Courtois the tortoise should stay at Atletico if he wants to keep his reputation intact
Glad everyone is realising the truth.
