Exactly, we've been doing this 'build from the back' for almost 8 years now, and people are saying they dont like it now? We need to learn to appreciate our players who are here, other teams would kill to have Mats as they wont have to worry about the keeper position for the next 10 years or so.

He made a bunch of very good saves but should've done better at first, second and even forth goal. A top class keeper would've blocked some of those goals if not all of them..

His season has been shaky but all in all, above the average of the rest of the team. Building from the back pertains to tactics, another coach could heavily limit his contribution there if he so wanted.

What? I meant errors in the past, that are still recurring even if they don't necessarily costed us directly in the PSG game, that is why I used quotes... Probably, I'm not expressing myself very well...

His most recurring "error" is slow reactions/reflexes, even though he has improved lately, which definitely shows in his recent run of good form; I just pointed out that despite the wall messing up (and being at fault for the goal which I acknowledged for the third time in this thread) this flaw was evident, even if that was not the cause of the goal...

The guy is just unlucky, though, when he is finally getting some steam, the rest of the team just flops hard...

And just so you don't forget Mandrake, remember that in 75 games Bravo only received more than 3 goals once, to ter Stegen's 8 times in 74 games, :pep:... (Don't get worked up about this, I'm just using stats as a joke)

i totally agree with u, can some one post a video of the saves he made please, cause as i saw them there all the kind that are hit straight at him or
very very close to him.

He had some big saves yesterday, MOTM probably. Definitely could have done better on the fourth goal though, just like any keeper who lets a goal in at the near post, but I feel after a very shaky start of the season, where he cost us points like at the Celta match, he's definitely growing as a player. We probably wont win Liga or CL this season (first time in awhile..) but that has nothing to do with MATS being number one keeper. The team just isn't working right and it's a sad coincidence that it occurs with his first season playing all competitions.

I think 3-4 seasons we will see him develop into a world class keeper. There will be less freezes, his brain farts will happen less and less and with a good coach we may win CL and La Liga even with him at the goal. Go MATS!
