May be they are targetting ter stegen. Next summer he will have only 1 year in his contract. Or may be valdes decides to stay. In any situation, it looks good to me. At least we don't have to buy a new GK this summer and we can utilize that money in defense. Next year we'll have new transfer budget anyway and we can get any GK with that money.

Great, we're already winning by not signing Reina. Hopefully now management will do the right thing and sign 2 CBs & a FW

Neither Sport nor barçastuff now jack shite. Sport reports whatever they feel like and barça stuff publishes it. Unless Barcelona make an official announcement we won't know for sure.

You can be happy and say "I told you so" when we concede even more goals with Reina.
But I seriously hope not. It's annoying how management looks for previous Masia players but doesn't see how much they currently suck and why they let them go in the first place. There's a reason why Reina never gets any playing time with Spain... IMO he's 4th choice now behind Casillas, Valdes, Lopez

You say that, but where was Lopez before Madrid picked him up in the winter? Warming the bench at Sevilla. Now you say he is ahead of Reina.....

What is going on in the club??
SPORT: The board are mad at Valdes who hasn't said anything since he announced that he's leaving. They feel that his acts are disrespectful towards the club. The board want to hear the final word from Valdes to start looking for replacement or save the money this summer for other signings.

What more do they need to hear? He said he wants to leave. That should be sufficient. Take the best offer you get and then buy the replacement.
