Good signing for Liverpool. Should bench Mignolet if/when he fully recovers from his injury.

Even if he flops, doesn't recover, whatever, he was free. Not sure why more clubs didn't wanna take a punt at him, especially considering he had a very good season. He would have been an improvement for Arsenal or City (especially Arsenal) too.

He'd be an improvement for every top team minus Real, Bayern & Chelsea to be honest. If he fully recovers from his injury that is.

Valdes? He was probably a sweeper keeper before Manuel Neuer even started to play football. As you said great at 1on1, good shot stopping abilities in general but of course his weaknesses at high crosses and a big blunder every season which every gk has though.
I was always glad we had Victor as our goalkeeper. Perfect player for the system and no matter how often anyone had underrated him, he was lifting the trophies at the end of the season.

no doubt about it. we play high line defence so he was perfect for us.

Valdes' few blunders are the reason so many people underrate him. It's like... "Oh, a blunder there, he must be completely shit then."
