10 - Ansu Fati

True, but this is part of a larger issue which is the absurd inflation of a player's potential before you have any concrete evidence of what the player's level is.

And everyone is guilty of this at this club. It's the same issue regarding the way the club is run. Not with reason, logic, and pragmatism, but with emotion, bravado, and political mumble.

I'vd told you before time and time again that the only way you hand out big money and high appraisal is based on facts, results, achieved status. Not potential, eye-test, or projections. That's emotional and subiective. When it's not your money, you can't afford to be emotional and subiective. That's simply put bad management. And the club reeks of it.

True,
I am on the side of reason, logic and pragmatism

That's why I did not want in 2021 someone who is emotional, full of bravado, full of lies, and full of shit to become our president

But are you for the privatisation of the club or for running with the same system that is built on these things?

I am totally against privatization.
The socios should always have the fate of the club in their hands, and it should be in the statutes and bylaws as a CONSTITUTIONAL provision that it is not possible to sell more than 49% to private invenstors, and give away the management of the club

That said, it does not mean that incompetent clowns should run the club.
Get the best professionals out there, we have the best brand in the world together with Madrid.
It's inexcusable

I just don't get why he did not start this game.

Araujo started after 6 months, Eric started, Torre started, Martin started

In Flick's mind it was a game of rotations, he even excluded Raphina from the squad.

Because that dude is pure shit. Higher pay than some of the best footballers but plays worse then a Tercera footballer.

I don't get why he got to play at all. He plays like he's physically and mentally retarded.

If Flick doesn't give him a shot at the same time he plays the players you mention above tells you everything about how bad he must be in training compared to his colleagues.

We are talking about a game where all the players above him in his position weren't even there. Sad to say, but he is finished at this level and at best will have a Rafinha Alcantara typa career.

Fati is not even good enough for the bench. Don't see the scandal here, man is terrible. He's only part of the squad because the club lacks the funds to improve it.

If you don't even make it at Brighton and you rub the bench there, then any discussion about his level is pointless.

I don't know what Hansi sees (or doesn't) in training,
but all the doom and gloom about his level in here does not follow from the minutes he gets on the pitch.
If there is something to see in his few and short cameos, is his lack of confidence

I think he should seriously consider going to Girona on loan (if rumors of interest are true), and try to find himself there. Exciting attacking football, great coach, no pressure

Spanish fans call this dude "Ansu Fragil".
Only americans still believe the hype.

Won't get any minutes at Girona, they're a serious team with no need for freeloaders.

I remember he had two very good opportunities on goal with his right foot and both times they were on target but tepid attempts

That’s not on his knee which is already impacting his ability to make a difference but when his nose for goal disappears, ordinary player

No pressure in Girona? Dude won't get minutes, he wouldn't even get minutes in Leganes ffs. Segunda is his level and I'm not even sure he could make it there tbh. We fucked up, he's on 12M until 2027 - nobody in their right mind would even pay 20% of his wage on loan...

He can barely run these days and provide any type of intensity or pressing needed.

That's why he doesn't play much. The least you can do even when you're terrible is play with intensity, but he either can't or won't when he has the chance.

Frustrating af tbh. Roque for example at least runs his ass of - it looks like Ansu doesn't even want to be on the pitch, fucking strange if you ask me... it's like he's trying to troll Flick and Barca fans, like a big "fuck you". It's not like we did anything to him, he doesn't ever have to work one day of his life - he'll make like 75M from his contract. I simply don't get it, he could at least make it look like he pretends to give a fuck and at least move his fucking ass the few minutes he gets.
