What are we supposed to do ? cry about it ? I know it isn't good for the team as a whole and we would suffer immensley if God forbid he get's injured or something, but I'm enjoying every moment of this. If this doesn't prove that he is the best in the world then nothing will ..

Messi has also hit the woodwork like a dozen times this season (off the top of my head, his dribble vs. Osasuna, his dribble vs. Atletico in the Copa, his chip vs. Deportivo and more...). Yep, Messi already has way more assists than Ronaldo had all of last season. Also, Messi scored 2 goals with his right foot today.
I don't care about Messi's heading ability, but I'd really like to see Messi start becoming a freekick specialist. That's still one thing Ronaldo has over him.

There was never much competition in ManU for the freekicks, maybe only Scholes, that´s why Ronaldo became their freekick specialist. In our team there was always Ronaldinho, and now other decent players like Alves and Xavi .. maybe that´s why Messi didn´t get his chance to shine in that area.
Quick Note: Ronaldo got the 42 goals last season talking ALL MAnU's penalties and freekicks, Messi is scoring a hell lot this season only taking half the penalties (other half Eto'o takes) and none of the freekicks (other than the Atleti goal)
