If he doesn't dribble, we end up aimlessly passing around their half from side to side with no penetration, as they are playing with at least eight defenders at all times. If he does, he has no choice but to go through everyone, as they are all so tightly packed together, he wouldn't be able to pick out a pass to a teammate.

Unfortunately, that's just the nature of the beast. Parking the bus makes for terrible football.

Exactly a minimum of 3 defenders on him, he helped create space but there was nobody who could finish it off

My heart skipped a beat when he slid towards the end of the first half.

Poor 1st half and shoulders a big part of the blame for Chelsea's opener, however greatly improved in the 2nd half and was a one-man machine, credit to Terry and Gary Cahill for doing a great job on not allowing his shots to reach Cech.
