I'm sorry to disagree with some of the posts here, but seriously judging a player like Messi by goals is beyond stupid. I don't give a crap if he scores or not as long as he helps us win titles with his geniusness. Be it by assists, dribbles, goals, whatever it is, he always leaves his mark in every match.

I love how he played. He faced constant double marking and hard fouls and still made the most of everything. His goals will come again soon enough.

I just love seeing him master the playmaking role, nobody does it better than him currently. It gives me chills everytime the defenders surround him and he still somehow manages to make that perfect pass to a free player. :worthy:

That's awesome. Loved how they explain that with Cesc on, Tito found Messi a position further back where he can be more involved in the build up. As a result, Cesc then fills the false 9 role in lieu of Messi. It works great because Leo now has more freedom to create plays and deliver deadly assists, while Cesc is further up front where he likes it, and it intensifies the Messi-Fab connection which is a good one. Also, it doesn't deter Messi from scoring, and it helps feed Cesc's striker side.

I love that little buddy scene with Messi and Fabregas whispering and laughing about something. Then right after that they link up with that beautiful goal. Those 2 have a true friendship connection man... (mostly all of Barca does really, that's why they're so amazing.) Can't wait to see more of this Cesc-Messi connection as time goes on, clearly it has a LOT of potential!

Leo is starting to play better I think. I'm starting to think he saved himself for the Classico. He was so unbelievable against Benfica. The way he turned away from his defender with the goal of Fabregas, pure genius. I think we can expect some great things for Sunday. His genius never ceases to amaze me.

missing messis scoring mentality... he hasnt the same level like years before... although he only tap in goals... which wonders me the most.. he can shoot so well but never does from outside the box....he got to change because the opponents are now more aware of him.... that why he doesnt score that much anymore i guess...

if all opponents would defend against real like the does against barca with all men behind the ball ronaldo would score so lee goals... just take a look how free he was for all 3 goals against ajax.. incredible

what the fu*k are you cracking son ? he just made the world record last season of scoring highest number of goals ?


tap in ? do u watch his gameplay closely ? his assists , his passing game is brilliant and one of the best at the moment. what are u cracking ? and maybe messi doesn't shoot from the outside of the box coz barca's game play is different man ..we play passing football ... not like English teams
