Not sure what game you were watching but he was one of our biggest threats as usual. He opened up celtic with diagonal passes to the wing and was involved in the first goal and on another day could have scored 2 himself.

Unfortunately for Messi if he fails to score or get assists people will slate him. If that had been Villa or Cuenca people would say he had a good game. Life at the top is incredibly difficult.

Not awful at all. Some people need to look *beyond* Messi. Look at the team and what players contribute to it. Messi's performance was not at all detrimental - in fact, he created danger, had shots at goal and was involved in the equalizer in a great way. There are lots of players who didn't do anything particularly useful, but no one's calling them out.

Not bad at all, good passing and couple of great saves stopped him. Our other players should be able to create more from the space left when Messi is so crowded though.

He made some great passes for his teammates. I didn't see Xavi, Iniesta and co. returning the favor.
He also played deep and much of the second half even behind Alexis.

For Messi standard it may have been a below par. But compared to the rest.. He was actually among better performers.
