It isn't Antonella in that pic but that would have been awesome if it was her

Anyway....

Hitzfeld (ex-coach Bayern): "Messi is, together with Pele, one of the best that ever lived. Breaking Muller's record was a matter of time."

I know that feel bro, I hate watching that too.

They do have pre-shows btw its straight from Sky Sports like the old days and thankfully we get Sky commentary too.

You guys aren't in India?

I just assumed there wasn't a pre match show cos sabby said it as I never watch pre match shows. I just switch on the tv at the time of the match :)

Ballon d'or is next week!
7 days left !
I really want Iniesta to win it this time, although Messi was clearly the best in 2012... Iniesta deserves a ballon d'or and this could be his best chance !

The whole point of the award is to crown the best, so giving it to Iniesta would be against its purpose.

it belongs to Messi this year

Azkargorta (coach CHL): "I like Cristiano, but Messi has been impressive. My votes for the Ballon d'Or: 1 Messi 2 Cristiano 3 Xabi Alonso"

I have collected everyone who have published their vote, and based on those:

1. Messi 33%
2. Iniesta 20%
3. Xavi 13%
4. Cronaldo 9%

sample size 15

One curious thing is that 9/15 have Messi as best, and other 6 doesn't include him at all. Which implies, that people see him as best, or doesn't want him to win.

Sick amount, he also has most consecutive games scored sharing it.
He is at 7 currently so he might break 10.

By the way, the reason why I think Messi wins ballon d'or is this:
Look at past voting, all south americans except Brazil all vote for Messi, it will give him a huge amount of votes, captains in other continents and coaches all usually favour Messi, for example if the journalists and the rest of the world will somehow have it quite equal Messi will get a clear edge by South America.
It Also isnt close currently since the summer, I expect Ronaldo snd Iniesta to be closer than either of them to Messi.

the vote for the golden ball has already taken place. Do you know when?

I think Messi and Iniesta will steal votes each other unfortunately in favor of Cristina.

That list indicates that you're getting most of your samples from Barcelona friendly sources like Barcastuff who obviously only tweet about pro Barca quotes (they won't tweet about coaches who voted Ronaldo first , Özil second and Xabi Alonso third, obviously). Because Iniesta getting more than twice the amount of votes as Ronaldo will not happen.
