No we should experiment more him as a 10 playing behind a centre forward, how that will effect our pressing/defence remains to be seen but with the league wrapped up it's the perfect time to experiment for next season.

Mostly but he can play both pretty well AKAIK.
Messi against Uruguay was fantastic. He didn't have to come as deep for the ball near as often as he does for Barca.
If you just wanted to totally build the team around Messi and maximising his potential you'd do something like the following:

Of course this makes Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas and Thiago redundant so you could sell them and look to invest in DMs and forwards. But that's if you just totally wanted to build the team around Messi.

Much like it was against Milan at home, with the 2 new names you added. Alves going forward as a rw/rb hibrid. Or Put montoya, alba on the left and neymar on the right.
