So now we have the 3 nominees for the BdO....Can someone explain to me what happens now? Do the journalist, captains and everyone else who is allowed get to vote again? Or was there only this 1 voting round which would mean they already know who won? Or does Fifa decide? I really have no clue anymore....

Happy to see Lio amongst the last 3...hope for more for him but seeing what happened last year I doubt it...

Messi won't get the votes reopen for breaking 2 major records, he doesn't wear a rm shirt. If he did, you can be sure it would be reopened.

really disgusting how the football world works now, they give too much importance to individual players, you might think their greater than football itself, I'm saying this because of Blatter making poor Ronaldo sad and to make him happy again he had to reopen the voting again. I wish we lived in a world where every comment you made was valued no matter how you made other people feel, for example Blatters comments to Ronaldo and everyone crying afterwards.

If I remember correctly he did not have defenders in front of him, he was inside the box and he had open space to shoot but he let it out a poor shot.

Higuains chance was easier to score not disputing that, but Lep had one too and he blew it.

Not in front of him but right next to him on the goal side applying pressure, so he had to shoot between the defender and neuer and get it in, not something out of his abilities but certainly not a one on one sitter situation.

From this video, Messi wasn't hit by a bottle, but a coin(!).
In this video it shows at least 4 or 5 bottles around, most with the cap on. More players could had been hurt.

Messi doesn't even need to win the Ballon d'or for me, I just hope it isn't Cristiano. 4-3, is such a misrepresentation in the difference in quality between the two.
