Soooo....... La Liga committee upheld Messi's yellow and denied Barca's appeal.

What a wonderfully just, rational and unbiased league we have....

Really? I wonder if it would have been upheld if it happened to Ronaldo... or wait scratch that, he wouldn't have gotten the yellow card to begin with.

La Liga isn't exactly the most just and fairly run operation in the world.

Stupid Messi! He should have stayed on the ground and faked an injury.

Who cares about fairplay and sportsmanship anyway?

Looks like Barca will appeal the decision further. Not holding my breath for a changed outcome, but at least Barca's sticking up for Messi

Yeah, the club needs to do more of that. I don't even care if the appeal is successful or not.

Ridiculous decision really... I remember Ronaldo getting a red card against Bilbao and the referee that gave it subsequently being suspended. So yeah.

C'mon guys, were you really surprised they didn't lift the card?? Borbalan said nothing in his match report and they don't usually use videos in Spain. Corrupt FA from head to toe.

From what I heard he did write about it in his report he just didnt represent the facts correctly. And they always go with what the ref wrote in the official report, even if videos show that he was wrong. Unless the club appealing's name starts with an R and ends with eal Madrid.

He said that he's not sure that something was thrown at Leo (iirc), and that Messi was just wasting time for no apparent reason.
