Have to mention and agree with someone talking about the "difficulty" level of the goals.

All three were Ronaldo of Brazil style goals when he was in the 26-29 age bracket.

Lethal with each shot no matter where the opportunity arises.

EXACTLY what I was thinking! :worthy: :worthy:

People saying Ronaldo has surpassed Messi just cracked me up. Messi has simply never been 100% again since his injury... and now, ever since he broke that record a month ago, he has been in absolute god mode once again. I feel like I'm in 2012 again, watching this kind of genius and magic every game. It simply can't be touched or beaten.

To bad it probably won't happen, but even when he wasn't 100%, Leo was clearly the superior player this year overall. Now that he is finding his best form again, there really is no competition anymore. Both amazing players, but one is just of a higher echelon, GOAT.

His best position is behind the striker. He needs a player that can pin the CB's back. Pep noticed this back in 2011, he played Villa in front of Messi with Alves in charge of the entire right flank in the CL final.

In 2012, Messi was playing behind Alexis or Cesc, with Cuenca/Tello/Pedro keeping width and Alves in charge of the right flank.

Our comeback against Milan saw Messi play behind Villa and Alves in charge of the right flank.

Against Apoel and now today he played behind Suarez and he was very effective. When Sabella asked Pep how he could get the best out of Messi, Pep replied by saying play him in the hole behind the striker. He gets more space and he can use those quick 1-2 combinations.

Since Alves has declined physically he can't really go up and down the touchline as used to. That's why I think we should move to a 3-3-3-1 with Adama in charge of the right flank, due to the transfer ban.

Pep never played Villa on front of Messi more than a handful of times.

Messi since 2009 was virtually always a false nine. With Villa coming from the left.
