You all seem to be in a good mood :)

Well honestly when Messi is in this type of form and he has his subordinates (Pedro/Neymar/Suarez/Iniesta) playing well too its virtually impossible to keep him off the scoresheet, the only way really is when he's having bad luck and hitting the post ala 2012 vs chelsea.

I think one of the reasons he was so good last night is that he was dribbling more to the right then his usual left. Hope he smashes PSG.

This definitely looks like something he has been working on more. He has tended to be slightly predictable with his movement to the left (predictable, but still unstoppable). If you see his most memorable goals and dribbles, they generally involve beating the defender by either faking left and going straight or twisting right, which he did even in that amazing dribble which led to a scuffed shot.

To boot, he's using his right foot more, what, 5 of the 6 goals in the 2 hat tricks were right footed?! That's just crazy.

Hey, dakt, do you still have that infographic illustrating how much better Messi is than the others?

According to MD, cr has 46(converted 43) penalties to Messi's 28(converted 25), since 2009. In the CL is more balanced, 9 to Messi, 7 to cr.
