Best thing that can happen, get Messi against this coach and board. Then Laporta can swoop in and take Messis side.
If Messi staying is set up against Lucho and the board staying, then there isn't ONE Barca fan in the world that would choose the latter.
Respect is earned, not a given. This also goes for coaches. Lucho seems to think it's the other way around. The players and fans respected Guardiola because he deserved it, both on and off the pitch, not because his title was "coach of FC Barcelona". That respect only lasts for the honeymoon period of a few weeks, but once reality sets in you lose the dressingroom if you're a terrible coach and leader. Lucho probably has lost it already, regardless of what players say in interviews to the media, where they will say "we are behind the coach" no matter what.

By explode, you mean, that we won't win any titles in the next 2 Seasons, we have a mess of a board, a horrible coach, a questionable team, a huge mess in youth selections, a transfer ban and similar things?
Whatever happens, it can't be much worse than today.
