What bothers me is that when he starts wearing short sleeves again,we will be be able to see the whole tatoo in his arm.I preferred him without tattos, but it is his body,so he can do whatever he wants with it.

They do mean something for the people who get one. Just because you don't understand it, it doesn't mean they have no meaning.

Btw, Mehssi, tattoos are not that popular here in Brazil.
It just feels that people get them on a spontaneous whim these days. No wonder many regret having them.
Tatoos have long history and most of it was related to meaningful stuff. Like signatures of belonging to some group or indicating a milestone in their lives. Now they are used CUZ LOOKZ COOL.

To be honest. life's too short to get yourself worked up and sweat the small stuff. some like tattoos, some don't and that's okay, everyone is different and everyone has a story.

Or you could just get somethig that you think look good (because a lot of people actually do think they look good), and don't care about what others think about you, which is proof of integrity and strong character.

So, when will we see you with a Neymar tattoo? :pep:

I'm thinking of getting one like this:

jk, obviously. But that one is not permanent, or so I heard. But tattoos are not my thing :p

I can't speak for Messi, but he has one tattoo for his mom, other for his son, another one is jesus... things that do matter for him. There are people who express themselves with one. And they are popular among footballers.

Given that Messi was never a ''swagger'' and knowing his character, i believe that his tatoos are more than a mere showboat. Was just commenting on the general attitude of modern tatoo craze.

That's my main problem with tatoos in modern times. They mean nothing. Just another way to disfigure your body, like thrusting rings in your nose or nipples. Tasteless.
I would say the same about ridiculous haircuts, especially when one changes them every few months. Neymar and Alves being usual suspects. Guess i'm just old-fashioned grumpy jerk about this. :satorra:

Well... I guess you surely buy cars based only on its "meaning", not a single duck about how it makes you feel good.

Right?

To all of you who collect Messi's stats. Can you please post your season based stats on him? :)

Season - Games - Goals - Assists

All those stats are on the Spanish wiki I posted... just trying to confirm the exact number of assists. This has now been updated http://kahkonen.arkku.net/messi/?matches/assists/FCBarcelonao

As it turns out whoscored gave that assist vs Atletico to Messi so the creator of this changed it. He also added the Rayo game which brings him to 150 which is still 2 shy of the Spanish wiki. However it appears the wikipedia page gave Messi as assist to Alves for this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWaSg9VQr2o

They have him marked as 3 assists that season but sites like whoscored have him down for 2 so that one is incorrect which I assume will be changed on that page which would make it 149 OPTA and the wiki would then be 151. Still have to find the remaining 2.

You are doing some seriously good work :D

Since he is/or very close to 150 assists, somebody should but together a video of all his 150 assists.
