Since he is/or very close to 150 assists, somebody should but together a video of all his 150 assists.

Right as mentioned previously by MMK they have him down as 4 assists for the 05/06 season but I think that should only be 3. They gave him as assist in the Copa Del Rey that season in which Messi played both ties vs Zaragoza. In the 4-2 defeat he didn't assist but he did win a penalty so maybe they gave him that as an assist. In the 2-1 game at home he scored that first goal and Larsson scored the second but I can't find any clip of that goal, so unless he assisted that goal then its a mistake so that leaves us still on 149 and the wikipedia would then be 150.

Ok so the Spanish wiki is off by 3. I can't be sure on these numbers exactly as I have not checked every single one but it would appear that 149 is the official number.

2005/2006 should be 3
2008/2008 should be 17
2012/2013 should be 15 , whoscored.com only gave him 2 in the CL while the wiki gives him 3.

So he is 1 shy of 150. That would be a pretty great video.

Quite interesting to read him say that the press in Barcelona dont pester him and allow him to lead a fairly normal life.

At the same time Suarez saying the press in England was partly the reason he left.

Just one more reason he wont leave to go to EPL.

I don't care, i've spend almost 3 hours today watching his assists and i've come to the conclusion, that 149 assists is the correct number.

There is something utterly absurd about the fact we think 38 goals/18 assists is "low" for Lionel Messi.

I always remember 2008/09 being 38 goals and 18 assists, fairly certain I watched a video of it too somewhere in 2009.

On the Wikipedia page it says 18 including 2 in the Copa Del Rey... I have been looking over the Copa highlights and I can only see 1 assist which came in the final.
