Whichever way you put it, he is pretty selfish when it comes to playing time (it's most likely because he's looking for goals). He wants to play every game and that has been evident for years now. Goals mean a lot to him, just recently he said he would not speak to anyone for 2-3 days if he missed a chance (but that with the birth of his son, he's become a lot more mature)

I agree that he can be selfish with his playing time but I doubt its to do with goals, he always wanted to play every minute. Even as a kid.

Messi sgould definitely be rested the games against Getafe and Cordoba, at least one match, one week of complete rest is needed.

I completely agree he needs a rest, I was just pointing out that if it is up to Messi himself, I very much doubt he'd rest.

THe following month will be absolutely crucial for the team.CL semis are always really tough,especially when you play against RM or Bayern.People may mock me,but this period may actually affect his legacy to some extent:If we win the treble(and performs well ofc) he will be regarded as GOAT.But,if we fail,and especially if he continues being tired etc,people will be really harsh at him.

We need to start resting him, like in 2011. I know the league isn't wrapped up, but vs Getafe he should come off if we have a lead, and start on bench vs Cordoba. He must see that he needs a rest to maximise our chances of winning.

I agree completely.

I don't think anyone expected it to happen this season, and nobody really wants to say it but the treble is DEFINITELY on that this point and our chance increase 10x fold with a fully fit Messi.

Every single person At FCB should be working extra-time to have Messi well-rested and fit for these next 10 games or so.
