Messi doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would feel comfortable moving to a new club, making new friends, starting a new life etc. The guy went home to Argentina and barely left the training centre. His personality isn't suited to the celebrity lifestyle, heck if he moved to Monaco he wouldn't be photgrpahed inside casinos or sunbathing on fancy boats, he would probably be at home play fifa.
