How incredible. When i prposed this formation, when we were in process of buying neymar. People rejected the idea. Now tata is doing it.

Absolutely no chance of us buying Aguero, City don't need the cash. Just like PSG not willing to sell Thiago Silva at practically any price, City won't sell us Aguero. Like the formation nonetheless. With those players we could still easily change from that 4-3-1-2 to 3-4-3 by subbing the backs.

My point was not about the formaiton 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 whatsoever. Its just for the paper. A team like barca changes formations probably 20 times in a match so with so much movements.
Anyways. What i meant was, previously and now again, messi could be used as one behind strikers. and 2 or 3. you can call it a defensive forward, or a attacking midfielder. But the real essence is to put him right in the middle of the pitch. let him see the ball more often. and much more.
He surely is better than any 10 ever. in addition to being a lethal goal scorer.

The false 9 role is that he is an attacking midfielder that also is the #9. The only new thing about the last 2 games was that he stood more in the midfield. And also that Alexis and Pedro started scoring again. In the 11-12 season Messi had 29 assists.

Messi in the past few games has played the false nine in a style in between how he used to play and how Cesc played it.
Despite the flack he got Cesc was very good in the false nine role. Particularly because he got the ball so early to the wide players and was very direct.
I don't think that Messi will be like this from now on but it is another variation to how he and the team can play.

Yeah, yeah I know, but goddamn he would make a good edition to our team.
I did some research about his time in Manchester City, and this is what I came up with.
Since 2011-2014
Sergio Agüero
Games - 112
Goals - 72
Minutes - 7926 ( 88x 90 and 6 minutes )
Goal every - 110 minute
These numbers are insane.
I would give my left ball just to see him linking up with Messi at Barca <3

I think Messi could lure Agüero to Barcelona. They're very close and if he really would want to come, I don't think Man City would stop him, although the price tag would probably stop us from buying him. We could always lend some money from Neymar's father. Those 40M would help a lot.

If an argentinean forward would be the way to go, I'd choose Higuain. Easier to get, and he links very well with Messi too.

Cant see the club signing an peak CF, they wont play a formation that could fit that player in.
The 4-4-2 diamond with Messi behind Neymar/Aguero will never ever happen. That team would be far too attacking and the top teams would get through the midfield too easily.
Need to give up on the idea of the club signing a top CF.
