Why though? They're a very good club, maybe German posters might disagree but for someone outside Europe who is not too familiar with German media, they're an example of a very well run club with great financials, great history and a great team.

If someone called me a Real Madrid fan because I defend some of their players on occasion, I wouldn't give two hoots.

Geez. No offense to the Bayern fans here, I think they have a lot to be proud of and I
do respect their success. But I am not a Bayern fan, and I don't want to be called one.

Once again, my seemingly strong disdain toward that team has nothing to do with the twisted mentality that you are implying (perhaps I like them quite so much but hate to admit it).

Can we get back to discussing Messi? Enough hijacking of this thread.
