He is loyal because he gets a lot of money. Imagine having Celta Vigo pay his hormonal treatment since 2000... do you really think he wouldn't have left at the first good offer from a better/richer team?
We had players like Cesc leaving even though they were highly regarded in La Masia..Messi could have done the same, especially knowing how the club was in 2003 and the money that clubs like Arsenal are constantly throwing at our canteranos, but he didn't. And if he would have played like a club like Celta they would have been the first to want to sell him, just like Malaga had no problem with Isco leaving last year.
Maybe his father, that is if he takes time from not paying income taxes, should remember how Barcelona changed the life of the whole Messi clan, back when nobody was sure that the treatment would work and Messi would fulfill his potential. But hey, it seems that's not how loyalty works...
And you can blame the man, especially when he sees that Neymar's father got 40M euros to let his son come at Barca and is paid annually as a scout to do nothing?
