I agree with you except the last part. Wishing harm to a player like Messi after all that he has done for the club only shows what a spoilt brat you are.

Messi was the only player out there who represented even a remote scoring threat. If his performance was so disgraceful, I wonder how you would qualify the rest of the team.

I seriously don't believe this bullshit with him saving himself for the WC anymore even if I was one of the people who always made this excuse. In such big games against Atletico he's been bad, against Elche he was the same. These were the most important games of the season and he looked like he didn't give a fuck. Something is wrong with him. Just before the game I saw that he was about to throw up again.
