But from where will he get the opinions of the fans? Silly online polls? Reception at Camp Nou? Media?

On the one hand I hope Messi will shift his gears several levels up, knowing some fans are not happy with his performance recently; on the other hand I hope he will not read too much out of this and be distracted by it. Regardless, he should give his best and does what he enjoys.

I belive the camp nou fans and the people on the streets. The only thing that I am worried about is the fact that the Barça fans have very short memories and are not really that loyal, and will start hating on Messi..

Be quiet you! The team sub-par last 2 months, Iniesta and Messi unable to win games by themselves and playing less than their very best, it is obvious they are in clear decline and are but a shadow of their former selves.
