Messi will not leave. Even the brain dead bastards we have on the board right now aren't stupid enough to sell him. They know that if they sell an absolute legend like Messi that an angry mob of socis would lynch them on the spot.

That said, the socios would sooner kick Farto and co out than have Messi leave. If this continues, elections are inevitable. And that may as well be Messi's intention in saying this. Perhaps he's spoken with Laporta/Benedito and has agreed to help expedite Fartomeu and co's exit from the club.

This is completely understandable, the right thing to do is to find another club. I want only the best for Leo, and he should leave this sinking ship. The board didnt do as they promised - as usual. I totally agree with you.
2 seasons is a long time and by that maybe he has lost everything he loves about football. Maybe his peaked, maybe yet to peak but spending any more time here will only be negative for him. There is no system to support him on the field and future looks dark.
Ship is sinking and why should he sink with it? He just wants to play football. His done nothing wrong yet has to suffer cause of terrible board, managers. This goes for many players who I'm sure feel the same way but Messi is only one who can actually escape.
