LOL at some people who think Messi is going to leave Barca

I'm out for the next 3 days...

LOL all you want, nothing is impossible/impossible is nothing, as Messi's sponsor Adidas says.

He has certainly warned us that such a possibility definitely exists. If he remains this unhappy, whatever it is attributed to, it is plausible that he leaves sooner rather than later.

We Cules and Messi fans have to be mentally prepared if that day comes.

Why lol, his last sentence was very explicit, he is not happy about something in the club and he clearly intend to leave if nothing changes, that said i can't help it but sense the influence of a third party in that statement.

This is completely understandable, the right thing to do is to find another club. I want only the best for Leo, and he should leave this sinking ship. The board didnt do as they promised - as usual. Even if Leo goes to Madrid i Will always think he did the right thing. Corrupt board, weak players, terrible lucho. Nothing left for him.

Are you a Barca fan?

We all feel for Messi, but I can't imagine any serious Cule wanting him to leave for his own sake.

The right thing to do is not leaving. The right thing to do is that as soon as Messi is back in Barcelona after today's game, the club and him have a meeting and start talking and addressing the issues to find common ground and to resolve them.

The lack of a sporting project surely bothers him. remember he said faus knows nothing about football, and that they were trying to run Barça as a business.

But also the heavy unjust criticism without protection. He knows how these things work... But I think the biggest problem is he might feel unwanted. He said again he wants to stay, but that is not only up to him. That gives enough clues.

I think you are spot on... He doesn't feel backed up by the club at all, both in football and personal aspects, and he pretty much said it in that interview... I don't think we'd be reading much into it if by "but sometimes things don't go as you'd like" he meant the club is being run into the ground...

Yeah I'm sure you will be just devastated for him once he inevitably decides to stay.

Honestly I think he is as good as gone. This is most peacefull "I think I'm out".

The board is obviously to blame the most, but from his side of things I'm sure he needs a new challenge and surrounding. The club CANT give him anything for two years and then he will be knocking on 30s. He is gone on summer unless a miracle happens (elections). All his old teammates are soon to be gone, Ney will only get better and his time is naturally coming to an end here. Just look at who is coaching us? What can he say to Leo that Leo doesnt know bette? Will be sad day but best for him...

I believe Messi is wise enough to know not to ever go to Real Madrid.

Rummenigge has indicated at least twice, if my memory serves me correctly that Bayern will not be paying that kind of money for players.

More plausible options are PSG and City.

God please don't let this happen.

PSG can't. The FFP is here to stay and so they can't unless they sell every good players + their stadium.

I am not sure leaving will be the best for Messi at all. Moving to a new country, new league, new team, new players, different playing style, that's a lot of stuff to adapt, there is no guarantee that he will do better. The EPL could be too physical for Messi to handle.

I think deep down he really wants to stay, for everyone's sake.

It's time for the socios to take some actions, if Messi leaves we are seriously doomed and we'll need more than a mere 2 years to recover.
