Here is a little look at how things could have looked.
The top picture is the "normal" one, this is the one with the right stats and all.
Now, the bottom picture.
The only difference between the two pictures are the penalties. As we all know, Messi received a ridiculous amount of penalties during his record breaking season in 2011-12, as a matter of fact, he scored one penalty every 373 minute. What I wanted to see, was how things might have been, had he scored the same amount of penalties per minute (373) in 2012-13 and 2014-15, just as he did in 2011-12.
*Also, in 2012-13 he would have had 65 goals with 1152 minutes less than in 2011-12. It sure would have been interesting to see. According to my calculations he should have been able to reach 81 goals, had he played the same amount of minutes and received the same amount of penalties as in 2011-12.
What I find interesting, is that all 3 seasons is within 0.10 % of each other.
