So now they are better they just didn't decide the CL, and if a player doesn't decide the CL they aren't better than the players on out bench? Another shit point by jam

Not about who decides the CL/League it's about having a squad with a key 2/3 players than can come off the bench and rotate throughout the season.

Keeping training competitive and having player who can come off the bench and help change a game

Or is this FIFA

You are not making much sense again.

Real had better bench players Barca had the better starting eleven and barely anything between the squads.

The biggest difference in CL was all the more of Reals top players turned up more often and Zidane didnt fuck things up the way Lucho did vs Juve for example.

Barca did rotate and in league as you said and were one win away from the league title.

Barca did not have some shite squad compared to Real the past few years as likes of you try to make out and cry 'Poor Messi; for some reason.

They were one win away from a treble and two consecutive doubles.

You speak nothing but shit as usual and still dont have a clue.

We had the better starting xi? That who Madrid? That's it I'm done

A better front 3 yeah, better midfield and defense? U must be kidding me a better sqaud, lol

1 win away from nothing that's some dumb dumb ass logic, almost every big team can make that claim they were 1/2 wins away from this or that

Facts is our sqaud was poor compared to most top teams in Europe only board apologist like you constantly say we didn't.

They are doing a better job now though, so good for them.

Yip Barca had the better starting eleven. Real had the better bench.

Barcas squad wasnt poor at all and it was arguably stronger than has been this season.

Lucho botched things up a bit at times and top players didnt turn up as much as they did for Real.

You as usual speak shite and dont have a clue the squad in both the past two years should have performed better.

One win away from two doubles and a treble in three years for that shit squad.

RM's bench was acres better than ours last season and still is better right now, though by less. There's hardly a factual argument one could make otherwise. I'd say City too have a better bench than us right now when everyone is fit (Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Jesus, Danilo, Stones, Toure, etc.).

We may well have an argument if/when Griezmann comes in and we trade away all the piles of dead-wood for useful players or promote Aleña/Cucu and other talented B teamers. But not yet.

Their bench was better but their squad as a whole was not much better and Barca should really have done more in CL both the past two seasons.

Their bench is not better right now.

Looking back at 16-17

-Neymar had a very sub par season by his standards, only scoring 13 league goals
-Suarez regressed significantly from 15-16
-Iniesta was injured for most of the season and was far below his 15-16 level
-Busquets had injury problems and performed far below his usual standard
-Ter Stegen took a few months to adjust to his #1 role and made a lot of errors in the first few months
-Lucho fucked up the lineups quite often

Despite all of this, we still won the CDR and took the league title to the final day of the season even with RM scoring several late goals and bad refereeing decisions. On paper, our squad heading into 16-17 was better than RM, so I don't think you can make an argument for Messi being let down by the board when we went into the season with 3 of the top 4 players in the world (MSN) and 2 of the top 5 midfielders (Busquets, Iniesta).

Sorry but how can you say that Barca had a better starting eleven? One team dominated europe, the other was trashed by Juve and PSG in CL. If PSG weren't serial chokers we wouldn't even have advanced against them.

Jeepers have said it three times....

Barcas top players failed to show up. Reals didnt and Lucho made fuck ups that Zidane didnt.

If referees didnt fuck up Real might not make the final....think that is more beneficial than anything.

What kind of reasoning is this? Hypotheticals?? "Should have performed better". You are getting bold with these hot takes. Maybe Suarez/Rakitic didn't underperform from their usual level but actually straight up declined?? Suarez has been nothing like his old self since 2017 started really, even his recent goals have been pretty easy finishes while his inconsistency in front of goal continues.

RM were also 1 point away from winning the league in 15/16 after we nearly blew a 10 point lead that the fat idiot Rafa Benitez gifted us. Goes both ways and could say we were lucky to not have 2 consecutive seasons with only CDR. RM even got kicked out of the 15/16 CDR for fielding an extra player, giving us an easy trophy on a technicality. You're a master of revisionism tho.

Go say "Barca had a better starting XI than RM in 16/17" in any general football forum or neutral discussion ground. You'd get laughed the fuck out of there within minutes. Pure homerism and bias.
