Lo Celso is good enough but his age is the problem, as expected he had a shocker when he had to play against Madrid in CL, I'm afraid the same can happen in WC.

That's because Emery the dumbass played him as a DM when he's an attacking midfielder.

I get what you’re saying. During the Champions League final I had to listen to some fool at a pub that considers Ronaldo a more complete player because he is a better header of the ball. I can’t deal with that sort of stupidity so I went and sat somewhere else.

Messi, both in terms of Barcelona and Argentina, needs help from midfield. He can’t be expected to do it all the time... That said, I saw some promising signs from Argentina.

 About that, I used to argue Messi's better a lot in the past. Nowadays can't stand the 'debate'. If you can't see it yourself then why should I waste my time with you?

People see only what they want to see. I’ll comment about the eternal debate of who is better every now and then but I say my say and be done with it.

I watched the game yesterday, and besides hattrick(nothing special) i was more impressed with his fitness. He looks fit af, fresh, more agile. Seems he's working his ass off to be in the best shape for wc, looks far better then on the 2014 wc. Hes on point, i think he really thinks that they would do it lmao

If they are going to win it they've been put in the worst possible draw.

The likelyhood is they face Germany and Spain just to reach the final.

Messi will go down as a footballing god if he manages to drag that shit fest of a side to World Cup success.

The other side of the draw would likely have France/Brazil in the quarters and the other one in the semis so I don't think Argentina's path is especially hard.

In order to face Argentina, Germany and Spain would also both need to win their groups and advance 1-2 times in the knockout stage which is not a guarantee.

You're welcome
Neither Netherlands or Turkey have qualified so I am supporting Argentina even though I reside in Medellin =P.
A lot of people underestimating Argentina imo. Always thought they can grow during the tourney.
