Counting which goals scored, when they were scored and against which team would be at best (for Ronaldo) a draw between the two. Neymar won the three possible trophies being a key player and top scorer of two of them. CR was top scorer of La Liga and CL but hasn't won anything nor broken any record. Neymar has a case, an even more solid one if he wins Copa America.

And your stats don't mean anything. It says more about RM being shit than anything.

It's not our fault Real struggled against Schalke.

Comparing Ronaldo scoring 3 goals against them with the level of the rest of the matches isn't really justifiable.

Comparing the number of goals Barca scored as a team to Real as a disadvantage to Neymar is also not fair.

Overall, Neymar had a very good season individually and as part of a successful team. That's important.

I don't know if he will come second, but it's not far-fetched to predict it.
