I haven't been following the media reports but If Ronaldo can get blamed for 98, and Zico for 86, I expect Neymar to get a ton of shit for this.

I always felt he underperformed in 98. Beforehand there was talk of him breaking fontaines record amd blazing trough opponents. Yet the only game he actually showed up was vs Chile. He was much better in 2002 bur even the contributions of dinho and especially Rivaldo get underrated.

even though he's Young he has played alot of football this year. More games could = more injures. Yes it damn shame to not see him play but a rest won’t hurt him for next season. It’s just trying to see a rare positive on the situation.

He needs rest, despite his age. Played over 4000 minutes last season. This excess is what usually makes players get injured, so for Barça is actually great he's got suspended. Now he'll rest and have a good pre-season.

Why is it a stupid statement? They're Barca fans, not necessarily Brazil fans.

And yes, even a 23 year old player could benefit from some rest, especially considering he hasn't had proper holidays/off-season since moving to Barca.

Neymar waited for the ref in the tunnels and insulted him. That's why he got the extra 2 games.
