Did he though? He lead the team in assists so he actually become more unselfish and delegated more.
Going from 39 goals to 30 is a step down for sure but 30 goals is still sweet and 20 assists is Messi calibre.

only thing stopping him from being at least "prime CR7"'s level is the finishing.. Neymar can't shoot if his life depended on it.. his numbers dont reflect how much he contributes because of that. once his shooting is improved sky is the limit.
His international goal record is incredible so he can finish. For some reason he's very wasteful with Barca.
One thing is he gets kicked to bits in this league by idiots offended by his skill. He doesn't get the protection from refs that he should do.
We had Diego Maradona and he struggled here because he was kicked out of games. It doesn't matter how good you are. Leo gets kicked but he does get some protection.

Pass the ball, move, pass the ball...overall decision making. Countless time did I seen him moving back pointlessly far away from his position instead of making simple pass back, move forward or wait for the ball to come back to you. I mean, you got Iniesta beaside you...just wait for the ball damn it.

His form dipped and more erratic since turn of year. More so than Suarez or Messi without a doubt.
Think all three of them dipped in form in that really bad patch and Ney wasnt the worst of three in CL elimination etc.
The team really needed him when Messi was injured and he did step up then.
Just hope MSN all take on board they need to play less minutes next season as they have been like different players again since one game a week.
This can actually be applied to 100% of the squad. They all failed miserably during April.

Masche didnt the rest did.
The only tie that has really cost the club this season has been the CL when the players were knackered.
In the league Ney, Messi and Suarez have all been the top player for spells and been hugely important players.
Ney has been the poorest of the front three this year though and not all the players were poor in April. Masche was a fucking colossus in that time.
