You do realize that Dembele played only 5-8 minutes in the Roma debacle and did not play at all in Liverpool (and was sorely missed)? He did not even take part in these two biggest humiliations of the recent years. Did not play against Valencia either. How on Earth is he one of our biggest problems? His stats are great, he scored a number of important games that won us points and a trophy, he creates chances out of thin air. I just find it mindboggling that you are on this mission to bury him when he is the least of our issues.

This guy is just a troll. He repeats the same sentences, it's propaganda.

Dembouz is the future, we sorely need some pace in our attack; Neymar is soon to be 30, Griezmann as well; neither offer the blistering pace that Dembouz does. Why is Suarez untouchable in our attack, but a young, agile genuine two-footed winger who is probably our second best dribler after Leo is reportedly being put up for sale?

It seems the club has learnt nothing from our previous history. We will have a hard time off-loading Griezmann and Neymar, should their quality decline. We need a younger squad overall.

Rakitic and Coutinho should be enough to bring us the money for Neymar. Add the money we got from all our deadweight sales over the last year (totalling 221 million euros since July 1st 2018) we are good even with FFP. Selling Malcom to either Tottenham, Arsenal or the Serie A would also bring us a decent cashpile. If we are to bring in De Ligt, Umtiti would go a long way to securing that transfer as well as a big portion of his wages.

I really, really can't understand why any Cule could be trying to defend Dembele. This is not FIFA, he is a 22 year old that showed incredible promise that has not manifested. It happens all the time. We took a gamble on a player with one decent season behind him in a different league and the gamble didn't pay off. How long do you keep flogging a dead horse? I am sure that we all wanted him to succeed at Barca but it just hasn't and won't materialise. Move on and accept it.

Breaking news!

Reports in Spain suggest Ousmane Dembele has been transfer listed by FC Barcelona to raise funds for Neymar. The clubs interested in Dembele are Liverpool and Bayern, who believe Dembele will suit their system of play perfectly.

He'd kill it at Liverpool, I'd love to see it.

With 2 good seasons behind him u mean and yes most Cules defend Dembele because we can see the raw talent that he possesses and the way he was mismanaged so far. The guy just turned 22 and he deserves atleast one injury free season with us..

We have bigger problems to worry about than Dembele..God knows that we kept around worse players over the years and still do....till this day

We did pay an awful lot of money for his services and we do pay him a huge salary, so we can't hang on for ever on the off chance that he does become the player we hoped. Nobody can possibly say that he has been at all successful so far.

So who should replace him?? We have a TON of Dembele haters but none can actually tell me a proper replacement besides Neymar or someone said Everton from Brazil LOL

When Dembele is fit and healthy he brings something to the team that no other player in the squad offers.

Until he plays 1 whole season without interruption? Ideally.....under a solid coach.

He is far from "dead". Why would he be dead? ffs he is 22 years old.
He started the season great, but you people have a short memory and huge recency bias and you also lack patience.

Coutinho was brought for bigger money, was an established player and showed far less than Dembele.

Not sure how you can arrive at this conclusion. He hasn't played poorly, only has been injured & apparently still shows some poor training habits. Griezmann would conceivably be a great influence in truth and I can't think of another young attacking player I'd prefer over Dembouz. Definitely merits more patience but would concur that we're at the last chance saloon currently

He can't control a ball and he's a professional footballer. That my friend is madness. I am not defending Coutinho BTW. I would prefer to see him go before Dembele. I think that it is too much of a risk to keep hoping that he'll develop. I really also hope that if he does stay he proves me wrong.
