Do you really think a higher clause would've kept him quiet, Like a polite school boy?
Even with PSG willing to pay the 220m, He still had no trouble turning the entire US tour into a circus and watching everything around him go in flames, Not to mention how he conveniently got himself into a fight with a new member of the team, Can you imagine what he would've done if PSG were unable to pay his clause and we refused to sell him, Man it would've been ugly, Very ugly.

Knowing your opinions, you definitely don't.
But the fact is that the MSN was the ONLY successful part of the team, so even if it is called MKQ the team needs a similarly productive attack formation.

When you say we don't need a new MSN, you pre-suppose a new and better midfield, a much better defense.
But in case the midfield and defense remain more or less the same, you need a new MSN (or PQF) to score the most goals in the Liga, otherwise the team becomes mediocre.
You NEED a new MSN, even if the names were entirely different...

Interesting info about dembele, He was the youngest player in 30 years to score 12 goals in ligue 1, And also was the youngest player in ligue 1 to score a hatrick, Both of these records were later broken by Mbappe with a very slight margin of age, So he's not far from Mbappe in terms of ability to score, He more of a chance creator at dortmund because of the role he's given there, Not because of a limitation of his scoring abilities.

The guy is an absolute freak, He's truly fantastic with both feet, Very rarely seen, Just look at this:

Dembele is younger then Neymar when he arrived, who was 21 going on 22. Dembele turned 20 just three months ago. Neymar showed his innate brilliance from the start no doubt, and whereas Dembele might not have as much in that department, he makes up by already having great maturity, decision making and a commanding presence on the pitch and so young. He is smart, practical, and very talented as well. I am happy.
