He is great but let him time.

in terms of behaviour, be careful. You see what he did with Dortmund. He won't hesitate to do the same with Barcelona.

At this point prices mean nothing that bullshit. I think Neymar's price was even low for what he could have given us, but his 222m did destort the market, if it wasn't already. I am still baffled how this equation is never going to be in our favor, imagine Neymar goes for 222m and you get a younger player who is no way near Neymar for 150m. Besides, there was nobody like Neymar on the market.

Ronnie was not already an elite WC player at PSG. He was very hot and cold and the coaching staff there weren't crazy about him, I watched a special on him. He only blossomed and blew up at Barca, it's where Dinho became Dinho.

This is true about Ronaldinho being hot and cold in Psg.
But, Ronaldinho already had a World cup in 2002 where he won a gold medal and was a key member of Brasilian side with Rivaldo and Ronaldo R9.

Even though, Ronaldinho's price back then would probably be around 100-120-140M today.
So, I don't agree with Khaled that Ronnie was a bargain.

But imo, Ronnie was way more proven than current Dembele and way lower risk.
Also, one huge difference CURRENTLY between pre-Barca-Ronaldinho and pre-Barca-Dembele is that Ronaldinho was a very good scorer both in Brasilian NT team and in Psg, in a league with way less goals than in Bundesliga (and Psg being a crap team, ending 9th and 11th in 2 Ronaldinho's years there).
So, Ronnie played in a horrible team in a defensive Ligue 1 and scored 8-9 goals each season in 28 games.
Dembele played in an ultra-attacking super strong Bvb and scored 6 goals in 32 games.

So, a one complaint about a current Dembele in this Ronaldinho vs Dembele talk is that he isn't THAT lethal currently, and as Bojan said, he is more like a creator than a creator+scorer.
But let's hope that he will improve in that area.

Ronaldinho at World Cup 2002, one year before coming to Barca:

Ronaldinho's goals in Psg (10th placed team back then):

Haven't watched him much. Seems like a Neymar-type player- pacy, but with better vision of his teammates, quicker decision-making, less dawdling on the ball. Still doesn't answer the midfield control question, but could be a like-for-like improvement at left wing.

Watzke on Dembele: "The transfer is on the way... but not finalized yet. We'll announce it when it's finalized."

Don't try to compare actual Neymar with the actual Dembele.

Maybe compare the Neymas during his Santos era and the actual Dembele.

There is light years between the actual Neymar and the actual Dembele. Don't put too much pressure on him please. He is young and needs to growth. He is not as consistant as Neymar. Which is totaly normal.

That's actually a good thing.
