Apparently this was from 10 days ago he was feeling something then. I'm guessing he was playing with some discomfort/injury and never told anyone about it until it was to late.

This was right before the kick off as well.

Stupid boy, deserves what he gets, let this be a lesson to him the next time he picks up a knock. 4 months on the sidelines should help calm his nerves a bit and lower the massive expectations put on him. He looked far too uptight and rigid on the ball in his first few games here, I hope after he comes back he isn't awed by the magnitude of the club, goes out and plays his natural fearless game.

If he was feeling something as far back as 10 days ago he should have told the medical and coaching staff about it.

Yeah I know he was eager to play but that discomfort he had ended up turning into a 3-4 month injury that requires surgery.

Well, again, how do we know he wasn't examined? Maybe it was felt to be manageable? After all, if that original image is from ten days ago, that's before Juve and he got through that fine. Players are literally always carrying minor injuries.

This is pure speculation. We can't form opinions just from one picture. And even if it's true he was having difficulty how are we so sure he didn't tell the physios.
