It's clear that he's gonna take time to bed in but I was impressed today after a faltering start he looked more and more dangerous. Dembele and Messi can be interchangeable swapping sides and areas of the pitch .

The problem lies with Suarez who I loved at Liverpool but he's a completely different player here and nowhere near as effective . Check out some of his compilations vids at Liverpool!
We'd be better swapping Suarez with Firmino right NOW ... then our front three would be truly fluid

Didn't he rule in France when he was 18 ?
Dominant in Germany the following season at just 19 !

He will be amazing for us in Spain whilst he's still 20 :)

people writing him off already i sure hope its trolling. the guy is 20 at the best club in the world, coming back from a 3month layoff. he's played 3 or so games, give the kid a damn chance.

Yeah. You could even say that he hasn't played consistently since May. Aside 3 matches or so he missed part of the preseason with Dortmund while on strike, completely missed the preseason with us, obviously, and to top it off he injured himself soon after. Not even Messi would be the same after something like that. And he's the goat, not a promising 20 years old kid in a new country, new team with loads of pressure on him. We should judge him from the next season at the earliest.

Seems to be a good and healthy atmosphere in the group. That's one of the major strengths of this team, and it creates a very good environment to integrate new players as well.

Of course he was nervous. We spoke about this period before - I don't expect him to be decisive factor for a while, 3-4 months of no football is not easy to overcome. He performed well, although still lacks the dynamic and chemistry that Messi, Suarez, Alba and Paulinho have. For now I just hope Ousmane to stay healthy and be patient.

Despite him lacking match fitness, you can tell he's improved his understanding with the team compared to once he got here.

Valverde also mentioned it as well after the Celta game.

I think it will be much easier to forge him into what we want than Neymar.

With Neymar he always had his own style since he was in Brazil. with Dembele I feel he's much easier to forge into a player who would fit the bill on what we need.

He clearly has potential. As far as being a big part of the team for the rest of this season, realism is necessary. The kid is only 20, and he certainly is not playing at the Mbappe level at this time. High potential and a huge cost will not win these three trophies. He has not yet looked like a player who should be a part of this team's first 11, who should play ahead of the likes of Paulinho, Coutinho and Arnaiz.
