i'm sorry but the results say otherwise. We havent lost yet 42 games or so in the most important competitions.
The people who fancy Demebele clearly don't see the bigger picture. We have a slow iniesta and Lord Paulinho who needs 4 touches for a 360 turn. You can only play with three forwards when you have 3 monsterous midfielders on whom you can count defensively (let alone offensively). Our midifield is struggling with 4 players and we see that in tough games. We tend to loose the ball Under pressure, even the slimest. Valverde has more problems to think about than integrating Dembélé right now. Perhaps next year with coutinho and i hope another world class midfielder we can go back to 3 at the front. That would open new horizons to Dembélé.

So it doesn't matter to you that we go 90 minutes practically without producing a single good goalscoring chance, but if say Christensen hadn't had a complete fuck up and given us a goal, which means we would have lost, then you would begin to question our system?

It's because you only see the sparkling side of things, which is the attacK. Valverde clearly and rightfully feared chealsea and wanted to secure the result or al least minimize the damage. Dembélé would have weakened our defensive game massively. If this was the second leg and with 20 minutes to go then i would have agreed 100% and i think Valverde would have thrown it Demebele.

 We didn't ask Dembele to start the game. We wanted him on when we desperately needed an away goal because without it would be very hard in Camp Nou and nobody looked like scoring.

That's an argument against playing Dembele vs. Chelsea.

And an argument for playing the donkeys Paulinho and Vidal against Chelsea? That's some sound logic right there....

You have this irrational hatred towards Dembele based solely on your deepest darkest fear of him doing well and making people forget about your golden boy Neymar. You're afraid if Dembele becomes world class he'll tarnish whatever little legacy your precious Neymar has left here.

No need to constantly perform mental gymnastics to try and come to a logical reason as to why you dislike him, just admit the truth which is clear as day to see for most people.

Or maybe you're just not used to detachment when you analyse football. It's part of the passion that's why i understand when people react like that, , no worries..

I didn't write we should play Paulinho or Vidal, so you can stop pulling shit out of your ass. Acquire some reading comprehension, please.

I'm merely stating your argument for using Dembele against Chelsea is wrong.

Dude, don't patronize me with that "sparkling side of things" comment. Seriously now.

What did Vidal bring in defense that Dembele couldn't? Vidal is a sieve defensively. Has been since he was bought by us.

Also, defense is not only played by staying put and not going forward. Many times, having offensive players of good quality means that the other team has to comit more players in defense to cover that guy. Let's see Alonso or Kante bombing forward in attack when Dembele sits there for an opportunity to counter. His pace alone would be a problem. They didn't even have to mark either Vidal or Paulinho and ganged up on Messi and Suarez.

First of all what logic is that Dembele shouldn't be played against Chelsea because of his speed which our team lacks.

Secondly you are not defending the people who played instead of Dembele aka Paulinho/Vidal. Then pray do tell me who should have played then? Should we have played with 10 men?

I'm not patronizing. everyone is obviously entitled to his opinion i don't even know why you would feel like that, anyhow.
I strongly disagree with everything you say here. You are linikin offensive players' defensive attributions to their "threat posing" and i don't even know what to say here. Is Suarez's defensive work is the same as michael owen, or Icardi or eto'o or Inzagui ? All of these are proven world class scorerers who scored massive amounts of goals, Some of them defend a million times better and harass defenders better, press better and position themselves better to stop the defenders from playing from the back or get the ball out with ease. So no, the fact that Dembélé "would scare Kante or Alonso" is an extreamly weak argument.

That is my opinion.

Eating candy on the bench or just bubblegum? Also liked a lot of pictures on Instagram, but none from the match like he usually does.

It can't be candy, right? I mean I thought they got people to fix his diet.

He must be frustrated with the situation. Sitting on bench during a big game. I hope he has enough mental skill to get over these problems.
