No such thing has been published by beIN. He's referencing a story that doesn't exist, note the absence of a link.

Rennes won't be doing any "pre-agreements" when they stand to make much more on an open market.

Neymar?

Neymar was 21 and a superstar already, this guy is a wonderkid still.

Neymar?

Dude, please don't even compare this kid with Nerman...

Why, because you're a fan?

Dembele is playing just as well for Rennes as Neymar was for Santos. Neither were or are superstars, but the talent was and is obvious in both.

please, Neymar has single-handedly won Copa Libertadores and had a shitload of goals for Santos, this guy is just starting.

Please. Santos is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Brasil, have never been relegated, arguably carry our strongest academy, etc. The Santos side that won Libertadores featured Danilo, Alex Sandro, Felipe Anderson, and Ganso. Neymar was a phenom no doubt but it's ridiculous and false to suggest he carried the club to successes they were experiencing long before he established himself(2 Libertadores finals from 04-11). On the other hand, though his tournament form was scary, Santos never finished in the top 6 of Serie A while he was there while Gabigol has already broken his Paulista record.

Neymar went pro at 17, a year younger than Dembele is now, but despite being professional for only 4 months the latter has already lead Rennes to the top of the table, into European qualification for the first time in 5 years, and one place outside of UCL qualification for the first time in the clubs history.

It's ok to acknowledge that there's special players/prospects out there that don't play for Barcelona.

 yeah, because that's totally what this is. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that you are comparing a 21 year old superstar to a kid who has 20 odd pro games under his belt.

Seriously, the Ligue 1 fanboys are getting out of hand in here...

No,but because of what you said later .Dembele is still a wonderkid who has long way to prove himself
Neymar had years under his belt with Santos and Brazilian NT and was way more marketable .those 2 are very different cases

Neymar didn't have "years" under his belt. He was hyped as a youth and debuted at 17, and it is in those years that Dembélé is a comparable player. He may never live up up to his potential but that isn't the point. Of this generation his quality is such that he deserves mention amongst the best u21 players attackers in the world next to Gabigol, Gabriel Jesus, Coman, Martial, etc.

Hmmm
Trickykid has said :

Whatever. We'd never commit to pay such a price for a player like that anyhow.

Your reply was

We haven't bought Neymar at the age of 17 .he was 21 with years under his built . That is where those two isn't comparable from Barca perspective as a potential expensive signing

you said the same shit with Anthony Martial... You know the story... Listen experts. It's not usualy for me to declare that a young player is a futur crack.

Even random players like Payet or Ayew are in fire in England.

I don't believe the pre-agrement of the Bayern. There is no pre-agrement in France nor clause to break a contract.

Oh no, they're ganging up on me!

Oh, and no, Martial hasn't proved he's worth 70M (or whatever that ridiculous number was) yet.

@Jair Ventura

Dude, you overhype all French players. You also said Lacazette would go for 70m soon and this season he's nowhere to be seen.

Dembele is a great talent, but nowhere close to good enough to warrant a big fee right now. And every club scouts like hundreds of players every season with the view towards the future.
