He’s never going to realise his full potential with this joker. Tuchel was able to have him 2nd in assists in Bundesliga (team of the season aswell) and 3rd in the the UCL in assists.
Thankfully the EPL window closing means that PSG is really the only option and he continue his development under a competent fucking manager

BBZ is correct he does hate him. As I said from the beginning he is not a manager for Barca. Our young players have no chance to develop under this fucking idiot!
It’s not just that he is a bad manager he is a bad person who doesn’t know how to communicate with his players. Currently we have a wonderful squad but our manager is simply not on the required level. He will fuck it all up again. And I was the one hoping things will change this season.

Yeah, good thing is that he will be fired after this season without the CL, bad thing is that there’s a big chance of wasting another year of Messi, and Dembele’s development will keep stalling. Find it very hard to like Valverde with his BS, on top of his already non-existent charisma.

It's amazing how much energy people spend on tabloid BS. A player can literally come out and deny rumors (which Dembele has done for several months) and yet yu guys will still eat that shit up. Jesus, football is soap opera for men.

I've problem with everyone who abuses Barca players or anyone associated with the club , those who have done good things for us . For that no need to be his assistant . I've defended Rakitic . Ive been called a fanboy for defending Mats when peeps were shitting on him after Bilbao match in 2015 . I will have problems with each and everyone who comes with a propaganda of posting shit on each and every thread about Barca players and our manager . Is that a fair reasoning?

Yeah I don't have much nice things to say about Valverde these days
What annoys me that he was good with youth at Bilbao in terms of coaching. sure he didn't have any other choice but he did about as good in getting these guys up to speed and motivated to get them better. It seems ever since he got to Barca that he may felt with the squad he got they can manage themselves without having to put as much effort into personally coaching a player than he did at Bilbao.
Dembele has had a difficult time here. He got injured for 5 months in a new country and there were rumors he was struggling a bit with his parents divorcing as well. But despite that he showed some quality here. For me Valverde needs to help him out more. These guys maybe footballers but they aren't machines and they need some guidance as well.
Look at Roberto, Since he was promoted in the 2013/14 season he struggled a lot. Sure he had hard working traits but he looked like a guy who didn't have confidence in himself to move away from the Patient Midfielder tag and was close to being binned to Stoke City. But Lucho put his arm around him and helped turned him into the player is today and he's now one of the Four captains.
Not just Valverde has to step up but the senior players also need to help him as well. Help him out on what he needs to improve and what not to do as well.

I actually bothered myself to dig up the full quote from MD, And it translates as this:
"I don't know if Dembele can leave. I'm the coach and I want him to stay. The coach is counting on him and doesn't think about players coming out”
Valverde stance on dembele is very clear, So I have to be excused for not understanding the rationale behind all the berating he’s getting.
As for the vagueness in the “I don’t know If dembele can leave” statement, It’s something We should expect him to say after what happened with Paulinho, A player he clearly counted on his first season, Only to find out that the club and the player agreed on a transfer deal, With the club pretty much ignoring valverde opinion on this, It’s the reason we heard that valverde was pissed off at what happened with Paulinho.
So in valverde eyes, The club and a player already screwed him a month ago, Who blames him, For not trusting that they’ll go behind his back again, especially seeing the front covers of MD and SPORT, All he can do is as the coach he reaffirm his trust in dembele.
