Everyone here says that Mbappé is better than Dembélé.
he did what against naple, Liverpool and Madrid last year.
Mbappé invisible on all 3 matches (Naple, Liverpool)

after watching Liverpool play today, I at least don't want to hear another person saying how Dembele would be world class and a future ballon d'or winner playing in "Klopp's system"

Dembele's situation reminds me of Rashford's with United fans. 1-2 years ago, United fans were still comparing him with Mbappe and saying he was the next Henry or something. Now, they realize he might be a good talented young player but is certainly not special enough to warrant such hype and comparisons.

There's still a lot of Barcelona fans that need to accept the same with Dembele.

Dembele is a much better talent compared to Rashford though, he was hyped up before Dortmund. Martial, Dembele and Mbappe are a level above most young talents. Rashford is hyped cause hes English, Sancho for example will be a better player within a season or two

As pointed out: scored and assisted. He also crushed City almost all by himself 2 years ago. Oh, and he also scored against Juve (still with Monaco) in UCL's semis. Your love for Dembele is cute. And I've pointed out several time that I think Dembele can be great. But Mbappe is just something else, people need to accept that (and they also need to stop forgetting about his season in UCL with Monaco, when he was fucking 17 and carried them to their first UCL semi finals in almost 15 years).

He played ok. He lost the ball a few times but that’s what happens to most wingers not named Messi - they lose the ball. He’s 21, and probably playing in setup that doesn’t suit him fully, but he is still making things happen, and importantly, defenders fear him.

His ability, however, is clear to see. He needs continuity and the reassurance that every little mistake or turn over doesn’t mean he’s about to get hooked. Saurez alongside him has spent the past two seasons losing the ball with impunity yet his place is seemingly guaranteed.

He makes a good point.

Since we played decent or even pretty good yesterday one can judge Dembele finally at least to some extant.
He is obviously talented, there is no doubt about that, so that's all good, what worries me:

He is not a great dribbler - he is like current CR, looks good in pre dribbling action, fast feet, ball sticking, looks like a threat but mostly losses the ball easily. Opposite is Messi, no flash moves, step overs, but he would own Skrinjar with ease.
He lacks footballing IQ - wrong decision regularly
Sad face -, yes I know...but he looks beat up. Of course Suarez screaming at him doesn't help, but he has this sad, defeated face...unlike Arthur or Malcom. I think teammates notice that.

Of course, all that is correctable, problem is he was bought as top player for huge money, or at least first 11 player at once, yet...he looks like a good sub for now.
