Can you show me a game where Coutinho played in midfield and was atrocious?

I was being hyperbolic, he's only played 2-3 so far this season* from memory. Doing okay isn't enough for the money we paid for him. He needs to improve there and he hopefully will.
fyi
against Real Sociedad he was crap, Valladolid he was ok, PSV he was solid.

Hopefully he can convince Mbappe to join us in the future. Would be an amazing frontline!

Yeah, should have bought Mbappe instead of Coutinho

Mbappe isnt pure 9 striker, with dembele and messi on the sides, where he would play? False 9 tactic is outdated, it was great when messi was younger and more agile then these days, i dont think that would work now

He can replace Suarez imo. We don't play with a traditional no. 9 anyways anyways, so no problem if he isn't one.

Although I'm pretty sure he can fulfill the role Suarez has in this team, he can also contribute with the wing play when needed and is better on the ball compared to Suarez plus much better when you add his pace. And the thing most important for a no. 9 is ability to finish & eye for goal, which, I think he is quite good at it.

Will turn 22 this year. You almost get the sense he's ready to explode into the scene anytime soon, although perhaps more likely with a new manager and an offensive system suited to his abilities, or well most of the team right now, playing faster football instead of slowly passing it around.

One thing is for certain and that is if Barca are to win the CL the team will need Dembele(and Coutinho) to step up. Hopefully they're ready.

Hopefully his other antics and mistakes are behind him, as Messi said, and he learned from it and is trying to rectify his mistakes. Because that could have spelled the end of his Barca career.

Naw, Coutinho just having trouble seeing EV vision. Coutinho is world class and real fans who don't feed into flashy dramatic headlines know this. Don't believe it? See when he first started with us, he was knocking in goals for fun with ease.

Don't need headlines to tell us we got absolutely ripped off with him. Also don't need headlines to tell us he's playing like crap and currently doesnt fit anywhere. These are things any fan can pick up on by watching us/him playing. Does EV help? fuck no, but we bought him as an 'experienced ready made player', not some potential future super star ala Dembele.

I'm hoping he turns it around.
