Watched some highlights, fucking pumped. Guy was forced to go back for ball constantly, some nice passes and vision. And his team mates were segunda level finishers, even ferran would score those. Auba or lewa if healthy would score 30+ next season easily. Maybe he explodes offensively too, finally in a team that would attack most of the time.

It's destiny that this guy does well for us. Brazilian's who have a name starting with "R" always do.

It's destiny.

:wow:

There was this one guy who flopped hard. But we dont mention his name around these parts out of fear of his return.

Yeah, better look a bit closely at these nitpicked stats!

Created chances:
A/90: 0,09 (116th in the league)
xA/90: 0,21 (23rd in the league)
Key passes/90: 2,01 (34th in the league, about 20th of players with more than 10 games)
Goal creating actions/90: 0,28 (90th in the league)

Take-ons:
Dribbles/90: 4,60 (19th in the league, but 7th out of the players who played more than 10 games)
Dribble success rate: 39,6% (195th in the league, out of 207 players who attempted to dribble)

Tackling:
Tackles/90: 1,61 (257th in the league)
Tackle success rate: 26% (187th in the league, out of 209 players who attempted to tackle)

The picture is pretty clear: a player with the license to fail almost an unlimited amount.
As he still plays all the time, the absolute numbers for tackles, dribbles and created chances are quite high, but when you look at per 90 numbers, he isn't even in the top of anything there other than number of attempted dribbles, but at the same time he fails more than pretty much anyone with the dribbles he attempts.

There were 89 players in the league who created more goals per minute
There were only 12 players in the league with a worse dribbling success rate, and only 22 players with a worse tackling success rate.
At least he tried to dribble a lot.

Who would you rather sign for the winger role?
