Agreed. The "he was the best defender" claims are in the past. He either had one good season, and now it's gone, or it was luck. Barça needs a natural cb. Puyol is also showing he won't be back to top level.

Puyol no longer has what it takes to play RBcan't believe Martino actually tried him there. I know we are missing a lot of players but just play Bartra there.

Tata was between a rock and a hard place there. He probably chose Puyol for experience. But if he started Patric, and he was being toyed with, so everyone'd be saying he should not had played him. No way to win with so many injuries. Maybe 3-4-3 was the way to go.

We're gonna need 2 CBs if we sell him imo. I just don't think 4 CBs is enough when one of them is 35 and almost always injured.
