The rumors about selling Mascherano for 9-10m is basically just giving him away, he's way to good to justify such a low price. We should keep him and play him as backup for Busquets in midfield, and as a a last-resort backup in CB if two of the three main CBs (Pique, Luiz and Bartra) get injured. A La Masia CB could be promoted as a fourth CB to start getting some minutes in very easy games without much pressure.
One thing that is getting clearer and clearer, is that buying a fourth expensive CB after Luiz would be pretty much giving Bartra the finger, as he would barely be playing anymore if it happens. He has shown that he has great potential, in fact I think he's been quite awesome in the last few matches.

THat's absurd. If they can have just 9m for him, they should keep him.

We never get serious money for any of our players so 9m seems about right. Real Madrid managed to get 82m euros for Robinho and Ozil and we got 26m for Yaya. It is how we roll.

Sell him for at least 25m euro. Or give us Agger + 5m and you'll have Mascherano.
I'd rather get Flanagan + 10m he is a good young RB

What ? Good RB but he has no technic. He only fights for every ball like a warrior. Puyi had a mucher better technic than him at the same age.
You can't replace Dani Alves by Flanagan, he would add nothing offensively. Anyways !

It is totally in line with our transfer history. We usually release players on free transfers and the only players we have received more than 15m for are Yaya, Thiago and Zlatan, which we received about 20-26m for each. Thats less than Robinho and Ozil who went for 82m combined.
