It looks kind of stupid now, if none of them leaves, I agree with that.
I was sceptic at first, not at least because a clause in Alves' contract to make him leave for free if he wanted sounded far out (but that eventually seems true).
But I don't understand that sooo many media, also some usually better informed ones would put their credibility at risk with such massive claims. It was not just some twitter-account and sport reporting it - also italian media. That made me believe it more, but of course it is a relief if we can keep both of them.

Despite the Denials from Alves's agent today, I think it's a foregone conclusion he's gone.
as for Mascherano? feels like a 50/50 deal. Lucho and the team don't want him to leave but despite that Masche, is having to make a decision to go to Italy like he said he wanted to at one point in his career or stick around for a bit longer here.
