Expected to be concluded , after all there was only you & Inter (his first choice ) and Pool want to sell
i also read he won't be playing tonight vs City which indicate he is about to leave

JM was interested in going to Barca FAR before Rafa became Inter boss. So I'd say Barca were his first choice.

I don't think Inter or Rafa was actually interested in Mascherano. It's probably media bullshit. It happens all the time whenever manager goes to a different club. Drogba to Inter, Lampard to Madrid, Kuyt to Inter, Pirlo to Chelsea, Kaka to Chelsea, etc...

Before Rafa went .. true , Rafa arrival changed the dynamics
And how about you, valuing Hleb at 1,5 mil.?

Honestly ? if you are asking me i'd say it's a fair value for Hleb who failed for couple of years now and not a spring chicken

Did he play any of Barca pre-season ? i can't remember if he played or not

I don't want Hleb , i don't rate him at all , but to bid 12 million for Mascherano is an insult , you are asking us to take a 5 million pound loss on a player we helped become how good he is today. As i say , so disrespectful.

He didn't play. Common. Noones from 3rd tier divisions cost more. I know there aren't buyers and that the market determines the price but the estimation is just silly.

Well we sold a player from Castilla this summer for 100 Euro (true story ) and a buyback clause of 200 Euro .
and we are paying the taxes so that's more like 60/70 Euro net :D
At the end of the day when you have a persona nongrata in the club you have to take into consideration how much salary you are paying.. in that case it's 1.5 Mil + 4 Mil (for example ) down from the payroll so it's more likely a 5.5 Mil money available

Seriously. Club that is ready to poach our youth (Pacheco) doesn't have the right to be offended so easily.

Yeah. I guess we could save some cash on his salary.
